FELTING MAGIC PENCIL WANDS
AUGUST 17TH 10AM- 12.30 - €35, 12 PLACES 7-12YRS
A 3 hour workshop for kids age 7yrs - 12yrs ( 5-7 year olds will be accepted with a guardian present)
In this fun morning, children will learn the basics of wet-felting, the world's oldest form of textile making.
This is a fabulous introduction to a very sensory craft, suitable for beginners. There will be plenty of soapy bubbles, soft fibres, roll up your sleeves and rub a dub dub!
 
Tamzen ( former chairperson Feltmakers Ireland and textile professional of 20yrs+ experience with experience teaching in schools as well as herding her own 3 free range kids) will introduce the group to the basics of wet-felting, then move on to felting around a pencil…  
Love Harry Potter? you might know the character Rita Skeeter- who has a magic wand pencil… 
Each student will go away with their own- they are sure to have the best handwriting in class next year!!
